If you’re kitting out your home office, buying a tower PC makes sense. You get the specs of a top-end laptop (or better) for a fraction of the price. The Lenovo ThinkCentre M910Q is living proof.
This tiny tower offers quad-core processing and solid-state storage, with 16GB of RAM under the hood. Right now, you can get it on a refurbished deal for just $179.99 at Bleeping Computer Deals. It even comes with a keyboard and mouse.
If you want to render HD video or run an offline LLM, having the extra firepower of a desktop makes all the difference. Tower PCs provide an affordable entry point, with the option to add upgrades whenever you want.
You shouldn’t need to upgrade much on the ThinkCentre M910Q. This computer runs Windows 10 Pro on a 3.2GHz Intel Core i5-6500 quad-core processor, with 16GB of RAM. It also has a generous 512GB solid-state drive, and a good selection of ports: USB, DisplayPort, VGA, RJ45, and several audio options.
These specs make the ThinkCentre well suited to multitasking and creative applications. For instance, you can piece together large design files and edit videos without any slowdown.
If your work is more technical, the Lenovo can handle virtualization and software development tasks. It can even keep you entertained on the weekends with some casual gaming. In total, it's a package that has earned 4.1/5 stars on Amazon.
This deal offers up a 2020 model, refurbished at Grade B. That means you might see light surface marks, but everything inside is in full working order.
Refurbs in this class are normally priced at $223.99, but you can grab your Lenovo today for just $179.99 — with a keyboard and mouse thrown in.

Also BC need to be clear on what it is they/lenovo are selling, the SFF or the microATX tower version of the M910Q. The blurb has "pocket rocket" and the dimensions (7.05 x 7.2 x 1.36 in) clearly point to SFF. But further down it says tower, which dosent correlate.
Skylake (6th gen) is now considered ancient, and this kit that should be in the £50-£100 range - ebay https://shorturl.at/gzJX4

I confirmed this is the tower version and that the dimensions were wrong on the deal page. This has been corrected.

"... Skylake (6th gen) is now considered ancient, and this kit that should be in the £50-£100 range ..."
I would agree, epecially on the i5 model since this is a 4C/4T CPU from mid 2015.
100£ (ca. 120€) seems like a more fair price here since you're probably not going to use it for much else than an emergency backup, a small homeserver or minimal tasks such as webbrowsing.
The only thing that the BC offer brings to the table is a warranty on top of it.
I am being high level nitpicky here, still a decent enough offer for people on a budget.
