Google is on the brink of refreshing its sign-in pages, including Gmail, with a sleek, modern makeover.

BleepingComputer spotted a  ew pop-up message hinting, "A new look is coming soon. Google is improving its sign-in page with a more modern look and feel." We noticed the pop-up when signing into the Gmail account.

This update is expected to embrace Google's Material Design principles, known for their minimalist and user-friendly approach, signalling a significant aesthetic enhancement to improve user experience during the login process.

This move isn't Google's first step towards a more modern interface across its products and services.

In November, Chrome received significant Material Design updates, introducing new style icons that are visually distinct, aimed at boosting legibility and user interaction.

Color also plays a pivotal role in the Material You redesign. In the case of Chrome, Google enabled new colour palettes for the browser's tabs and toolbar, adding an extra layer of personalization and aesthetic appeal.

We're expecting similar changes to the login experience. With these changes, Google continues to evolve its ecosystem and address the long-standing design consistency issues.
