NVIDIA Quadro K4000 power connector needed

I inserted in an old PC the NVIDIA Quadro K4000 but prompts for the power connector needed

You can use those adaptors however you need to ensure the power supply is up to the overall power demands that will be placed on it.  I certainly wouldn't connect any "modern, high power GPU" (say an Nvidia RTX 4000 series card) like that, but with a lower powered card like the Quadro K4000, which pulls marginally more power than a PCIe slot alone can provide, it should be OK. 

 

Pretty much any ATX power supply made since PCIe became a standard (from memory, around 2006) should have PCIe power connectors.  Any that don't tend to be either ancient designs, very low wattage models designed for basic office systems only, with no GPU, or types you might find in small form factor PC's.
