Not quite,

 

Under the same umbrella company, Gen Digital, but each still has their own company rules, policy, and practices.

 

Admitted that some of them have dodgy practices, which of course then throws suspicion on the others.

 

But just because one step-sibling is a wrong'un doesn't make the whole family bad.

Or just let Windows OS doing the spying instead of third party software. Keeps it a lot more simpler by using just the Windows's Defender.
