I used to use H & R but it got too expensive.  Then II retired and started an on-line tax program that touts to be free, but the catch is that it can only be W-2  and all my income is on 1099 forms, they charge extra.  I do have other income but it is cash and never sees a bank so it won't be reported or recorded.
