Delayed Security Services Start?

Hello,

Im using EMET and since I set it to show on System Tray I found out that it start delayed, little more than 1 minute after the main things loaded/started.

Then I went to services and found out that the follow security services are all delayed:

- Software Protection

- Security Center

- Intel® Management and Security Application Local Management Service

- Intel® Management and Security Application User notification Service

- Microsoft .NET Framework NGEN v4.0.30319_x64 (this might need for EMET)

- Microsoft .NET Framework NGEN v4.0.30319_x86 (this might need for EMET)

- Microsoft EMET Services

I wondering if this normal behavior? Shouldnt security load as fast as possible? Or this is to prevent early compatibility issues?

On my system...using Win 7...there is always a delay...I don't time such.  I use ESET Internet Security.

The first thing that happens is that the security app downloads/installs updates, then it scans...then the system becomes fully operable to the user.

I just worried that they dont work that time, so atm I dont dare to start anything untill it fully loaded. I know some services delayed to they dont step on eachother's foot loading at once on system start. I just dont like it happening with security app.

When you can access the Internet, the system is ready for business.  Until then, it has security operations to perform.

I dont get this. I can go to web before EMET load up.

EMET is no longer supported, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enhanced_Mitigation_Experience_Toolkit .

My suggestion would be to remove it from your system.

I got this suggestion from other thread. However I cant find any free alternative to that. As some told me MBAE free is just a beta test thingie nowdays. EMET is useless as is now?

I dont need another Antivirus or security suit (Im using AVAST Free for that purpose), but an app what work like EMET. So far the only I know what similar is Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (MBAE).

Your overthinking all this, you don't need to many scanners.  Your best defense is how you browse the web.  

EMET is not a scanner. Also even I browsing carefuly I can end in place I should not.

Example once I ended in a fake site when I wanted to download MSI Afterburner. It was the first site offered in google search. It looked exactly the same as the original site. Everything set for a perfect scam. I reported the site after in several places.

I forgot about EMET, either way you don't need it.

Concerning your Browser, I thought you were already using a Sandbox?????  If you are not looking at addresses while surfing the web you will be in trouble.

I appreciate all your inquiries and all the good help that you are getting.  I'm careful, so I don't need all that junk, and that's it.  I won't waste so much time hardening an os that is so out of date.  You should be Banking and such on Windows 10 and using 7 for other things, you're a fool if you don't.  Being hacked is something that doesn't happen often to most of us, but once it does you will be in a world of hurt.

This accident happened 1 year ago. After that I opened malware investigation help here, what I gladly got by Oh My! Gary. The site was supergoodly set for scam. Probably they opened it in those days. I also reported it instantly to Google and to MSI. The site got removed not long after. As I told you it was the very first offer in google search. Im sure you dont look all the addresses all the time when you surfing.

I asked for info and help, not offense about my OS usage and how fool I am. I guess BleepingComputer have Win7 section for reason. For let us talk about Win7 and it programs, security, system.
