Hello BleepingComputer Members,

I just recently read about this Project. However before I download it and install I would be informed.

Anyone have experience with this? Is it secure thing? Is it can harm (BSOD or any crash) the system? I mean it do heavy things on system or it rather like an Emulator for programs?

Thanks in advance for any answer.

I you mean
https://github.com/vxiiduu/VxKex

then the readme.txt says all:

This project allows you to run some Windows 8+ applications on Windows 7.

Currently, it is in a pre-release state although you can build and use it for
some apps.

The changelog shows VERSION 0.0.1.0

Hi, @Erunosta:

This is NOT meant to come across as sarcastic or snarky...

Friendly advice from just another home user: If you have to ask about this -- what it is, how it works, whether it is safe, etc. - then you really do not need it and probably ought not to experiment with it (especially if you don't have a robust way to recover your system if it does "break" something).

Respectfully submitted

Hm, it seems this is not just a simple install, but alot of setting and involve download and set other stuffs to my system to work, while also it is very on alpha stage. Not worth the time. I wanted to test some games. :killcomp:

Yeah I readed about it more on other sources/forums and figured out that this is not the Droids Im Looking For. :luke:

I just like to get some thoughts from those who have experience with an application I dont know about.

Also I appreciate your friendly advice. :thumbsup2:
