Every time i shut my computer down i keep getting this message tell in me not to turn off my computer, it's upgrading item 1&2 after about 3 minuets it shuts down.

I am pretty sure Microsoft is no longer up dating Win 7, so what is happening?

You are correct.
Windows 7 lifecycle ended years ago.
That OS has not been updated since then.

The message you report (about "item 1 & 2") does not sound like a Windows 7 message.

Can you please use your smartphone camera to take a picture of the message & post it in your next reply in this topic?

Thanks

I get the same message on my Win 7 install...I just ignore it because I don't believe that it relates to anything significant other than some inconsequential W7 idiosyncracy.  No impact at all on my O/S...for the last 2 years or so.

I subscribe to the "no harm, no foul" rule of life.

The wording i posted was not exact but it was in regard to some type of update, i think it must be part of an update that was offered years ago but did not get installed.
