Often the hardest part of getting (and giving) computer help over the Internet is when an inexperienced user wants to describe the problem they are having or pose a question without the necessary vocabulary to make themselves understood.
A screenshot is a still image of a computer screen at a particular moment in time. An enormous amount of useful information can be conveyed in one screenshot to an experienced eye. This tool allows even the most inexperienced users to create screenshots, saved as an image file on their desktop and ready to be shared with distant helpers
A Thousand Words is a screen capture wizard with an editor. It's intended use is to allow less tech-savvy users to point out exactly what's wrong to helpers on forums and the like. As such, its main design goals are simplicity and ease of use. A Thousand Words doesn't require installation and is 100% portable.
