Long story short I put this PC together in December and have since been having issues with BSOD and freezing and restarting and the only thing I can see in even viewer is Kernel Power event 41 task 63 but my knowledge is pretty limited. I have it narrowed down to it only does it every 6 hours from start up. Meaning I can have the PC run all day if I restart it before that 6 hour mark. The other day I had it on for 14hours with regular usage and gaming and had no issues at all but I was restarting every 4-5 hours. If I don't restart it myself it will freeze and either hang until I push the restart button on my case or it gives me a BSOD regardless if I'm gaming, causal usage or even if its just sitting idle. As I've said my knowledge is limited and I'm a "google do it yourselfer" and have tried everything I can find as far as settings and reinstalling drivers. Just to throw it out there I did have my power management settings from "Balanced" to "ultimate" only because I was trying to see if it made a difference, which it didn't and have since switched it back to balanced. I get some weird info back after running speccy but I'll try and provide the info I can.

Running Windows 11 since I put it together

GPU - XFX SPEEDSTER Radeon RX 6800 16GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0
SSD - Crucial P3 Plus M.2 2280 4TB PCI-Express 4.0
        - Crucial T700 GEN5 NMVE M.2 SSD 1TB PCI-Express 5.0
RAM - Team T-Force Vulcan 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000
PSU - CORSAIR RM750e
CPU - CORSAIR RM750e

Hi, Welcome to BC.

Proper name of M/B is : MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI  M/B Support Page : https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-X670E-TOMAHAWK-WIFI/support

Running BIOS Version: 1.40  Date: 8/11/2023    Please Update BIOS to : 7E12v186(Beta version)    Release Date : 2024-01-26   See How to Video on the above page.

Updates to - AGESA ComboPI 1.1.0.2b updated.

As well please check that you have installed all the current M/B Drivers for Win11.  If you have never installed the Drivers do so now.  Do not take MS Driver Updates for up to 5yrs from release of M/B unless absolutely need to.

If have not installed your Z Bar for the XFX SPEEDSTER Radeon RX 6800 would consider doing so due to weight of the card and possibility of slipping out of it's slot and causing issues.

Power Profile
Active power scheme :  Ultimate Performance please change back to Balanced as running this setting is a form of overclocking.  No overclocking when doing Support.  If have other settings return to stock please.

If you have anything in BIOS that speeds up the boot example : ASUS Fast Boot please turn off for the same reasons as below :

Note : if on Exit from Bios you use Optimized Defaults that is a form of Overclocking and will/may turn back on stuff like the above.

Note : the Microsoft Store is a integral part of Updating Windows 11.  Please go to the store when stable and go down left side to Library and install only what you use.

Ryzen 7 7800X3D -  Max Memory Speed : DDR5-5200  2x1R    2x2R   4x1R  or   DDR5-3600  See Spec Sheet : https://www.amd.com/en/products/apu/amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d

So as per Compatibility Page : your Team T-Force Vulcan (unknown part number) DDR5 6000 is not supported and the Ram is too fast for the chip.
Do not use XMP, lower ram speed in BIOS to 5200 or below or 4800 as per Team page :

Uninstall :   Note : this is not a request,
AMD Ryzen Master - it is a Overclocking Tool use M/B Support Page Chipset Driver
Driver Booster        - use M/B Support Page Drivers  (IMHO you have ruined your install by using their drivers) Some where I said for 5yrs, you do not need to use this for 6-7yrs.
https://www.windowscentral.com/how-do-clean-install-windows-11  Then install your M/B Drivers from Support Page with Chipset then SATA then the lesser drivers to sound with tons of reboots.
IObit VltSale            - Use Geek Uninstaller or Revo Uninstaller  both are free.
Microsoft Teams

Why install MSI Center if ignore it ?

You can not run AMD Master as well as AMD Chipset, one or the other.

Check that you have the right settings for a Small Dump :  https://www.windowscentral.com/how-manage-crash-dump-settings-windows-10 /11

Please follow the posting guide and post the Sysnative Collection regardless if there is Dump Files or not.   As soon as there is a Dump File upload it please.

EDIT : SYSNATIVE Zip is in Post # 3 at the top.

See what you get in there, always want the ID & description  Do not post a wack of them only samples and or after a crash with no dump file creation.  : https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-event-viewer-windows-10 /11

Notwithstanding the advice above, I think this looks like a RAM problem.

The five dumps in the upload, all around the end of Jan, show that the bugchecks occurred mostly in different modules - all of them Microsoft modules - and with mostly different stop codes. There is only one third-party driver referenced in one of the dumps (amdfendr.sys - the AMD Crash Defender Service driver) and all that suggests a hardware cause. Most of the dumps fail with invalid memory access exceptions (0xC0000005) too because of bad register pointers. In addition, the System log shows no errors or things failing that might account for the restarts, it looks as though the hardware just collapses, giving Windows no opportunity to BSOD or recover in most cases.

The possibility of this being RAM is certainly strong enough to warrant a proper RAM test as the first thing to do....

  • Download Memtest86 (free), use the imageUSB.exe tool extracted from the download to make a bootable USB drive containing Memtest86 (1GB is plenty big enough). Do this on a different PC if you can, because you can't fully trust yours at the moment.

  • Then boot that USB drive on your PC, Memtest86 will start running as soon as it boots.

  • If no errors have been found after the four iterations of the 13 different tests that the free version does, then restart Memtest86 and do another four iterations. Even a single bit error is a failure.

Let us know how that goes.

Note: It's going to take a long time on 64GB or RAM so you might want to pull two RAM sticks and test them two at a time so you're not locked out of your PC for so long.

ok so I have been busy and have done a lot but haven't really learned much else haha. As far as what PKshadow had to say I I did everything you asked, I put my RAM down to 4800 in my bios not using XMP. I even reinstalled windows 11 just to rule out drivers and only installed off manufacture websites. My GPU didn't come with a Zbar, hadn't even heard of this before but if you think it could be the issue I will try and track one down. The only other things I wasn't really sure what you were asking was

-"Check that you have the right settings for a Small Dump" not sure what the right or wrong settings would be here

-"See what you get in there, always want the ID & description  Do not post a wack of them only samples and or after a crash with no dump file creation.  : https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-event-viewer-windows-10 /11" again not exactly sure what you are asking here sorry.

As far as the memtest you weren't kidding it did take ages hahaa, I made it to the 4th pass with 0 errors but once the clock hit 5hr and 55min as per usual the entire thing froze and just hung and I was forced to reboot and didn't see any sense in running it again until I shared this info with yall. Thanks for your help, where should I go from here?

Hi, yes is work for sure, with no satisfaction.

Well Small Memory Dump =  (256 KB)

https://www.elevenforum.com/t/change-bsod-crash-memory-dump-file-type-in-windows-11.8056/

The URL for : How to use Event Viewer is something you need to learn and understand.

Note : not all errors should or can be fixed.

Specific ones are the RED and YELLOW that should pay attention to.

When you double click on one there is ID on the pop-up include that and the description.

Or understand that the ID is important to figure out the error along with the description.

I suggested posting but since no idea suggest you learn it as these come up usually before a crash.

You fix it you fix the crash,

What happens is it is like a MTB Report which not sure you have done so let us look at it as it is a Snippet of the Event Viewer.

EDIT :   You have done one, do another since this is a new install.

Download Minitoolbox from the below link :
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/minitoolbox/
Run the tool and only select the following tick boxes.
-List last 10 Event viewer errors
    -List installed programs
    -List devices
-List users, partition and memory size
Now click "Go" and Copy/Paste and post the output text in your next reply

Memtest shouldn't freeze of course. I would suggest removing one stick of RAM and running Memtest on each stick separately, that will show whether it's a RAM stick.

One thing you do know from that Memtest run however is that your problem is definitely hardware related. Since it seems to be time related could it just be overheating? Can you run HWMonitor (free) with the CPU core temps expanded. Post a screenshot of that display at idle and also with the biggest load you can throw at the PC. Check other temps (GPU, motherboard, etc.) as well...

This was after about 25-30 minutes of playing a game, didn't have enough time for more but I have played for hours before with no issues as long as I'm paying attention to that 6 hour mark haha. I will start pulling RAM sticks and running 1 at a time unless anyone has some other ideas. Thanks

It's clearly not overheating then.

One thing I notice in the Problem Devices section of your msinfo32 output is this...

PCI Device    PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_14DE&SUBSYS_7E121462&REV_CB\4&38E43222&0&0041    The drivers for this device are not installed.

The PCI device with VEN_1022&DEV_14DE is the AMD Phoenix PCIe Dummy Function, a component of the chipset driver. It appears from the two links below that this is not always installed automatically and it may need to be selectively installed. I have no idea whether this is significant but chipset devices without drivers is never a good thing...

I have since dropped down to 1 stick of RAM to cycle through if needed and will look into the chipset drivers you mentioned as well. Thanks again for you input so far.
