Hi, slipped right on in.... Can you please supply the model info for your HP. More info needed.
It is a 3 step process to attach files.
EDIT : so would guess the Samsung is the newest.
Is Magician Installed : https://semiconductor.samsung.com/us/consumer-storage/support/tools/ and checked for firmware update
Is the WD Business Caviar old or new ? I
If it was the C: drive before did you format and delete all 3 partitions or merge them ?
Suggest WD Dashboard be installed if it is not already : https://support-en.wd.com/app/products/downloads/softwaredownloads
and check for firmware update with it.

Can you please help us to help you? We need much more detail on what exactly is happening and when it happens. We also need you to follow the BSOD Posting Instructions so that we get all the problem determination data that we need.
You asked whether we could see anything unusual that stands out and I do. You are mixing different RAM sticks. You have two 2GB sticks of Samsung M378B5773DH0-CK0 and two 2GB sticks of Micron 8JTF25664AZ-1G4D1. You can see from the Speccy output that these two sets of RAM use different frequencies and different timings. It's never wise to mix RAM. RAM should always be bought as a pack of matched sticks so that you know they will operate together. You should also only buy RAM that's on the QVL of your motherboard.
Without seeing any dumps I can't tell you whether this is a likely cause of your surprise restarts - but it could well be. I've seen countless BSODs and other strange issues caused by mixing RAM.

Should be attached now.
Have had this pc for probably 5 years now.
Stopped booting a couple of months ago.
Coworker replaced the C drive.
I've never done anything with the RAM...that's the way it came on Ebay.

Hi, No HP Support for this system, other than last supported OS Windows 8 : https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-compaq-8200-elite-small-form-factor-pc/5037931
Only 1 Current Dump File, 3 is better to figure out problems.
I would suggest making a short cut or if do not use Wifi turn it off when not needed. Extra Security.

Coworker replaced the C drive.
When was this and did they clean install Windows 10.
Reason why the above is asked is because Windows is shown to have been installed in July 2023 and when it was installed Windows was allowed to check for updates before the system drivers were correctly installed and as a consequence the system drivers are all over the place.
Your latest crash may me be a one off caused by a memory leak in Firefox but you will need confirmation from ubuysa on this.
Edit to add: It would do no harm to reinstall Firefox, just be sure that you set it as the default browser afterwards.

Just found some SPECCY reports I saved in November right after I got my machine back.
Will post one in a bit so you can see how it looked right after repairs vs. now.
Re: RAM, I can get 2x2 Samsung or Micron for under $10 on Ebay to make all 4 sticks the same.
Any preference between the two?
Re Windows, before the rebuild I think it had Windows Pro. Rebuilder installed current version but
I had to buy a key from a 3rd party to make it functional as it had the watermark on the desktop.
I don't know details on how my colleague installed anything, but leaving me to have to deal with
the watermark issue was less than high quality work IMO.
As I recall, current D drive was original there. He replaced the 240gb Kingston SSD that was
the C drive that came with it when I bought it with the current 1TB C drive.
Peripherals...I use an HP DeskJet 840C...Bought it new and now 21 years and 18000 pages later still going strong
except one of the 3 colors won't print currently. I do have an 11 year old ScanSnap ix500, but don't see any need
for any updates as it does what I need it to as it is, and I don't need another monthly bill.
http://speccy.piriform.com/results/YbdoYVqDMZCM3JAcri6uZ8A
(that's the November report)
Will be back in 2 hours or so with more.
Posted 11 February 2024 - 04:41 PM
Phill, haven't forgotten you, will need to respond in a couple of hours.
The restart did happen right as I opened a new nypost page on Firefox (had other tabs open as well on Firefox),
and the restart took maybe one minute.
Might be a one off, will run the other tests when I get back (should be back around kickoff time).

No need for the other Speccy Report.
What went on then has no bearing on now. Updates and program changes.
Use here to figure out Ram : https://www.crucial.com/upgrades/hp---compaq

(HP DeskJet 840C I have one, still working, do not use enough to buy liquid ink, never used colour. Bought a HP with a toner cartridge.)
ScanSnap ix500 maybe where the Chinese coding comes from. No legitimate drivers for it, so do not loose.

I tried a data recovery program called EaseUS to see if I could access some files on
my unbootable drive. I think they are based in China, so perhaps code came from that.
I bought the ScanSnap new so still have all of the cd's that came with it.

THis system is in a mess. There are several truly ancient drivers installed...
e1c65x64.sys Sun Feb 15 15:39:57 2015 (54E0A1AD) Intel(R) Gigabit Adapter NDIS 6.x driver netr28ux.sys Thu May 28 17:28:52 2015 (55672624) Ralink RT2870 series USB802.11n Wireless Adapter Driver TeeDriverW8x64.sys Tue Jul 7 20:43:32 2015 (559C0FC4) Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver Igdkmd64.sys Thu May 19 20:45:17 2016 (573DFBAD) Intel Graphics driver
Any one of those could be flaky in a Windows 10 21H2 OS.
The two dumps are separated in time by quite a bit, one is dated 19th Nov 2023 and the other is dated 10th Feb 2024 (that's the one I took the driver version dates off).
The 19th Nov BSOD was an INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR bugcheck, with a reason code indicating that the system failed to complete a power transition in a timely manner. What we see in the full call stack are references to the Windows drivers storport.sys, ntfs.sys, and disk.sys indicating that a storage drive operation was in progress. we also see calls to boot functions (such as nt!PopBootStatSet and nt!PopBootStatLock) as well as several power state functions (such as nt!NtPowerInformation and nt!PopPowerInformationInternal). That makes me think that this BSOD was during a restore from hibernation? There is however no clear indication of why the system was having power transition problems.
The 10th Feb BSOD was a classic DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, indicating that an attemnpt was made to access an invalid page whilst running at an elevated IRQL. This is most usually caused by a flaky third-party driver mucking up its memory pointers. In this case the problem happened duing a network access...

The tcpip.sys driver is a Windows driver, but it will be calling the network adapter driver, we just don't see that in the dump. I can see that you're using a WiFi adapter and if that's using that netr28ux.sys driver then that will likely be your problem.
TBH there is little point in anyone trying to help here until drivers that are 21H2 compatible are installed. A couple of these old drivers likely pre-date the first release of Windows 10! Since HP don't offer any drivers for this platform beyond Windows 8 I think that trying to run Windows 10 21H2 may be a bridge too far.

Just to add to that advised above;
We can clearly see that FF has been having issues so suggest that you follow what was advised in my reply #8 to deal with that.
We can also see Windows Defender issues so need to ask a few questions;
Have you been manually stopping Windows Defender from scanning the computer, if you have, why.
If you have not been manually stopping Windows Defender from scanning the computer, have you previously had a third party AV installed, if yes, what was it, when and how was it uninstalled.
