Attached File  SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip   1.61MB   2 downloads

Good evening, I have been experiencing intermittent crashes on my Win 11 desktop for the last week or so. I was hoping I had fixed it by tracing it back through the Event Viewer to the xTendUtility.exe errors, and updated the associated drivers, but it is still occurring. I have to do a hard reset of my computer by holding the power button during these crashes, as the computer experiences a full freeze. Sometimes upon rebooting it will give me the blue screen that offers me Troubleshooting options, but not consistently.

I am attaching the requested zip for SysNative and posting the Speccy link below.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, please run for hopefully some stability : From a DOS Command Prompt from START | type cmd.exe into the start search box | RIGHT-click on cmd.exe | select "Run as Administrator" then Copy/Paste --> :    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command then Enter
if it finds problems then reboot. (Completed Successfully : means reboot)
then
After : please Open another Admin Command Prompt and please run Copy/Paste --> SFC /SCANNOW into the Dos window or Powershell and Enter.  Reboot after.

As well please always start off with make and model of your system and Running Win11 what ?

Info from Speccy gives me your motherboard : Model:  07W25T  but not what system it is in.  Aurora R12  from files collected I would think.

There are No Dump Files collected.  Hard Reset would be reason.

Your BIOS  : Version: 1.1.24  Date:   12/20/2023    =======    Am perplexed by this as per below Info : Version Number as 1.1.1, 1.1.1        Released : 31 May 2021

https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-ca/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=hkf72

BUT

This is from your Driver Page but not sure :  BIOS Version : A17,  Released : 21 Nov 2019

https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-ca/product-support/product/alienware-17/drivers

So you tell us which one you should be running.   =============  And are all the rest of your drivers updated and installed.

As well which is your Support Page.   Please supply that.

DxDiagx86  - below repeats in order several times

=========

Event Name: BEX64     Fault bucket 1787953769032688871, type 5

xTendUtility.exe  version: 2.0.11.0

ends as usual :

Event Name: StoreAgentInstallFailure1

Update;ScanForUpdatesForUser

- You have been accepting Microsoft Update Drivers.  This should not be done.  Use your unknown Support Page.  This maybe your issue besides : xTendUtility

- Please run this and do not skip the last step : https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/   Keep the log if it finds anything.

In addition to the above, please navigate to the folder C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports, in there you may see several sub-folders. Check all sub-folders (and the C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports folder) and upload any dump files (.dmp) that you find. This folder is used to store live kernel dumps, these are dumps taken when Windows detects a failure from which it is able to recover. Sometimes this recovery causes a crash to the desktop of whatever app was running at the time.
