A few days ago I received a security alert about my gmail password compromised on the dark web. I changed the password on gmail, and then copied/pasted the new app password into my gmail account on Outlook 2007 (I have WIndows 10). My emails stopped downloading so I closed Outlook and tried to open it. The icon whirred for 3 seconds but Outlook wouldn't open. I rebooted my laptop to see if that'd fix it - it didn't. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can fix this? It won't open in safe mode so I can try another app password and I know my pst files are not corrupt - someone checked this for me. Appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!

Try a repair install and if that won't work might be time to upgrade your office.

I tried that and had an IT guy also have a go - he repaired the pst file but eveything else was fine. I'll upgrade office, unless anyone else chimes in with a suggestion between now and Monday. Thanks!
