Hi all! I've been getting pretty irked when trying to enjoy my new setup.

I recently upgraded my entire PC minus the OS/SSD I already had. Some games and programs, even after fresh installs, will force close sometimes. Some examples are R6 Siege, Da Vinci Resolve, and CS2. I got a GPU error from one of the programs at the beginning, and after running Advanced Systemcare to see if there was an issue. Afterward, nothing crashed, and all was well. Now I'm experiencing these issues again, and it isn't enjoyable when I'm trying to edit a video or stream a game, and nothing will work correctly.

You should reinstall windows so it's fresh on newer hardware.

Hi, since did not do a clean install which includes deleting the C: Partition, System and UEFI Partition you will suffer from various problems as it is looking for the old system.

A clean install on a Clean system using your Motherboard Support Drivers from Chipset to SATA with reboots followed by the lesser drivers with lots of reboots is needed along with the Current BIOS Version Released : 2024-02-02

I would uninstall Systemcare, as a start.

What components did you "upgrade"?

Is there any easy way to go about it? I have three drives, and I'm just wondering if I must reset them all.

Do you recommend any other software?

It won't reset them all and as a precaution disable them if you can in the bios.

Well no do not doubt yourself, just check yourself.

As usual if something is offered for free or installs with out you saying yes then it is : Too good to be true.

As well all installs should use Custom Install that way can read what they are offering or would have installed behind your back.

Re : Clean install

Just when using a new used bootable drive you format and delete all partitions out of it. Install Windows then your Chipset and SATA Drivers.

It is not to late to do so.  Do not except Microsoft Drivers from Update.  They are usually old drivers with a 2006 date.

Use your System Drivers or Motherboard Drivers.

Let us know what your up to and can help you.
