I looked through the forum listings/topic covered but I couldn't see anything specific. So I hope is appropriate to post here.

Is there a freeware utility that will list the file size of everything on my PC? I need to free up space for the optimum running of windows 10. A utility, would save me having to spend time, trawling and locating everything.

Cheers.

May find this useful for file management as you can have 4 squares open at the same time all in different places so can copy/cut/paste/move stuff around really well.

URL is respected site and has a write up.

I use "Everything". IMO it's the most versatile app for file management. It's free, and it's excellent. You might wanna give it a try! Just google "everything.exe" for its website.

"Everything" (aka "search everything") is a search tool. I use it on all of my systems, but I'm not sure that's what the OP is looking for.

Never heard anyone say tressize is complicated, but okay.

I selected the middle option to run, thinking would be more comprehensive. Think should have select the starter, basic motion.

Ran across the home page but since it is on Cnet will include it : https://download.cnet.com/folder-size/3000-2248_4-75157388.html

If find duplicates in the 8 and 4 Best then think that is your answer. :=}
