Hello

A message appeared on my laptop that says:

"This Build on Windows will expire soon. Your build on Windows will expire on 07/31/2020. You should move to a new build as soon as possible. Go online for more information."

I didn't even know I was signed up to the Windows Insider Programme. I have gone into the recovery settings, but there is no option to roll back to a previous version of Windows. I don't even have the option to update the OS Build, as Windows is showing no available updates. Any help would be appreciated.

My operating system is:

Windows 10 Home
OS Build
10.0.19619.1000

Why are you running such an old build? You should update ASAP.

Thank you for getting back to me. I didn't realise it was an old build? I purchased the laptop a few months ago and it was secondhand when I had it. Then when I first booted it up, it started off in factory reset mode. I then thought it had automatically updated everything afterwards. It was only when I saw that expiry message that I realised I had this problem.

Is there anyway I can rollback this software? Windows also says there aren't any updates right now.

You should just install a regular public build instead of an Insiders build.

If you have a legitimate copy of Windows 10 you can just do a clean install of a public version of Windows 10 very quickly and easily.
