Serial TCP/IP Bridge Client?

Hello!

So I'm trying to use an RS232 modem called the WiFi232(by Paul Rickards) that masquerades as a Hayes-compatible 1200 bps modem, for telnet but also to attempt to create an internet connection in a Win98SE GUI. Problem is, all of the terminal emulators I've used(Hyperterm, Kermit, and the like) work as intended for telnet, but do not provide this connection to the rest of the Windows system(no browsing, email, etc.). I have a Dell Dimension 4100 with a 1GHz Coppermine, and I have read online that there are apps that bridge a serial COM connection to a TCP/IP stack and allow connectivity through it - but every example of these programs I've found has been incompatible with 98. Any recommendations, for programs that might handle this?
