I have correctly installed the Matrox Millennium G450 video card, Windows 98 sees it correctly, but there is a problem.
There is the yellow trinagolino in peripheral management.
I went to see in the settings and it said:
Unable to find free input / output (I / O) range resources to use (code 12)

Then it says:
You need to disable the device that is using the required resources. To do this, click Hardware Troubleshooter and follow the instructions.

I tried but nothing. The Matrox Millennium G450 conflicts with the integrated video card. I have disabled it, but the problem persists.
If I delete the drivers, then it reinstalls the card automatically. How do I tell windows 98 to ignore the integrated video card and only use the Matrox Millennium G450?

HI, that picture makes me old....   Would have to check in BIOS if can turn the on-board off there.

It is most likely that it is not supported but who knows :  due not mention Drivers for it Win95 only : https://www.matrox.com/en/video/apps/drivers/graphics/previous/legacy/older_operating_system

There are XP drivers but would be too new.

edit : which OS is this ?  95 ?

Ok, must have missed it that one as did not know what you were running.

Was there a BIOS setting to turn off the on-board VGA ?

Unfortunately not, I checked and found no option, or at least I haven't seen it. I wonder if I have to manually set the Memory Resources in ISA Resources?

I wanted to give it a try. I made a video.
I manually changed the settings of the S3 Trio video card from the "Resources"; "Memory range". Once done, No Conflict appears in the Conflicting Device List.
However, the problem remains.
But if I try to do the same operation with the Matrox, the message will appear that I cannot modify the resource manually. I do not understand why.
Yet the S3 Trio does not give any conflict but the MAtrox continues to give various conflicts listed.

In the General Properties of the S3 Trio, it says the card is working fine, but the problem lies with the main video card.
But I do not understand this problem does not occur with the matrox mystique 220 video card .... I do not understand ....

A Creative Sound Blaster 16 and a USB 2.0 card.
Note that I unplugged all the cards and left only the Matrox plugged in. The problem remains.
I tried to connect the video card to all PCI slots. The problem remains.

Is it normal that CPU-Z says I have a Matrox G400 AGP video card?

I downloaded VERSION 1.03 VINTAGE VERSION from the official website
I also have an old version 1.57 for windows 98 from 2011. BUT this doesn't see any graphics card installed.

The BIOS is what controls the resources so a clear may fix it.

AH! Do I have to set the whole BIOS by default? Or reset it by removing the backup battery?

Curiosity:
I wanted to give it a try. I installed the drivers found on the site.
BUT if I use the CD, found here (since I don't have it):
It tells me it can't find compatible MAtrox cards and can't install drivers.
Yet I have this card!
