I don't understand. Why would you want to run a VM inside a network file server? I can't see the logic. What are you hoping to achieve?
Are you trying to set-up a 'virtual OS' which you can then "call-up" and just run from anywhere?

Since TrueNAS is based on FreeBSD, I'm kind of interested. Is this the same PC that you are trying to debug here:
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/793449/memory-not-recognised/
If so, it would be better to have this solved first.
Next, you have Python errors. I don't know any VM host software running on Python. Which VM host software are you using?
Is this VM host software fully supported by TrueNAS? If not, that would explain why.
Finally, why not using the real thing, FreeBSD? It's much more supported, huge community, and the mother of all the other Free/TrueOSs out there.

Should we read :
I created a truenas vm
instead of :
I created a vm in truenas
?
These are two totally different things.
