I'd be suspicious. Error window also reports the file was downloaded on an unknown date. And I wouldn't trust any files or binaries that start and end with an underscore. You could try downloading Malwarebytes for Mac and running a scan, just to be on the safe side.

Not going to do anything with MacOS. Unless they are running as a developer or Xcode, MacOS is not going to get infected like Windows does from the end user. The file the OP shows in their screenshot shows zero info for where and how it happened to get downloaded.

The problem could be with a startup app to assist the program. Check your start up apps found in general, login items.
