Reset old iMac with 10.5.8

I have an old iMac desktop ~2009 which seems to be an imac8,1 with OS X 10.5.8

 

Need to sell it and restore to factory settings 

 

Can I do this without an Apple ID as someone who buys it will want to set up their own ??

 

What is the procedure for reset ??
