Hi,

I have a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk 1TB Ext Hard Drive. What would be the easiest, cost effective, ( freeware utility? ) to clone the drive?

Cheers.

Rather than cloning, I suggest using a 3d-party reliable backup program to make routine backups...such can be restored to any drive whenever you like.

What is your reason for wanting to clone an external drive? Cloning is usually for transferring an operating system to a new main drive. Are you looking for backups?

I just remembered I have an older version of the Ashampoo Backup Pro on my desktop, that I don't use very often. Have Pro 12 latest is Pro 25, so will use 12  to back up the drive contents.

Cheers.
