Lenovo Laptop - Windows11

This printer worked beautifully on Win7. I just bought a new Lenovo and installed the Canon. My photo prints come out miscolored and horizontal lines throughout. Any ideas? Installation issue? Did a deep clean so not the nozzles. Also it prints text pages fine. Just photos no deal. Thanks.

If you still have the Windows 7 computer attach the printer to it and see if you still get streaks. That would rule out a Windows 11 problem.

The print heads are part of the inkjet cartridges Even doing a deep clean may not clear a clogged head. Do you have a spare color cartridge you can install in the printer?

Edit: You downloaded the latest printer driver dated 8/23 on canon's support site?

I am going to cancel this post. The printer works fine for text. I am going to buy a wireless Canon -- on sale -- for my photos.  Thanks to all who contributed.

If you haven't done it already try aligning the heads.  Mis-aligned heads can cause banding.  https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/W/MG2500%20series/EN/BG/bg-maintenance1600.html
