Editing info in Yubikey Auth app possible?

Hi!

I bought a Yubikey thinking it can't be this hard to set up. However I can't do it. I have no idea if I've set everything up on the manager software or if there's anything I need to do there at all.

I have tried to set up 2fac Auth on Instagram with the Yubikey and I typed in all the info in the desktop app as fast as I could. However the screen of my phone went black and when I swiped it "open" again the very long key on IG was different. Now every 6 digit code that the Yubikey generates does not match with Instagram.

Now what? :-(

I've watched their gen info on youtube and I've attempted to read their faqs. But I'm firing blind it seems...

Is there a way to edit the info? Or do I need to reset the whole thing? Is that even possible?

Edit what and which info? If using a Yubikey or any Fido key with a phone, there is no need now that AndroidOS and iOS already have Fido tech built into them. Facebook/Instagram 2fa should not even be a consideration to use a Yubikey/Fido key with.

Double-check Yubikey Manager settings, then re-enable Instagram 2FA with the Yubikey. Ensure your phone screen stays active during setup. If issues persist, re-sync Yubikey with Instagram, check time synchronization, and seek help from Yubikey support or the Instagram community forum if needed.
