I would like recommendations for pre-built brands that have good case expansion room. I have built several systems on my own, but my current homebuilt, about 7 years old, won't handle Windows 11, or any of the newer NVMe ssd cards. I haven't got the energy, at 76, to fuss around building a new box. I do have about 40 years of PC and other computer experience, so the tech is not my issue. I would like to get a factory box, with Win 11 license, that has room for several additional HD drives, a multi-card SD type reader, and is fairly fast. I do Photoshop and video editing, but no gaming. New Dell boxes are difficult to expand, as are HP boxes. I don't really want to just hang a bunch drives and accessories off USB cables. Case size is not a problem. Maybe some brand that builds customizable PCs that leave me some expansion room? I admire those who are willing to do a full scratch build, but been there done that.

I live about 60 miles from a MicroCenter, but the nearest thing to a computer store nearby is a BB, so hands on is probably not going to be possible. Any suggestions?

The HP Omen 45L isn't OK? It does appear to have drive caddies for extra drives.

There is also https://www.originpc.com/gaming/desktops/ (now purchased and owned by Corsair IIRC) but these are not cheap.

And they double box when shipping where the outer box is actually a wooden crate.  No UPS driver damages I suppose.

Thank you everyone. I don't really know what my price limit is, although I don't expect to save money on a semi-custom build. Without the need for fancy coolers or massive gaming cards I would expect less than $2k. I'm not crypto mining or needing to drive 3 screens either.

Note : some systems that have been recommended have terrible issues with getting access to Drivers and Bios.  These things should be on the page on their system , they are no where to be found.

It is also custom and can not use the Motherboard drivers/Bios that are available.

If want to save money can use your old case.

Most Mainstream makers systems on their pages example ASUS tell the info such as the Pro Art is used for Video etc and are no to little saving from a gaming machine.

Both use graphic cards for much the same.

Suggest go to ASUS or MSI and look around so have a Idea.

This would be a more practical place with link to pre-built : https://xoticpc.com/collections/pre-built-gaming-computers though can custom billed.

New Year Prices are really good.  If going to buy now is the time to do so. No pressure.

(bought a laptop from them, shipped here and am a happy camper. Make nothing for the mention).

I think MicroCenter does ship, so it maybe possible to get a custom built ordered online  and then get it shipped to your home.

Something to further investigate.
