Startup Programs List Download

Hello, I've been looking for a list or database of unneeded start up programs.  Obviously I've found it on bleepingcomputer.com however I've realized that i need to manually search for the start up item.

Is their any way to see the full list or programs, or is their any way i could download the list in something such as an sqlite DB file or xml file?

I'm developing a program for something and one of the options will be the automatic disabling of start up programs (on new computers only).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Trying to avoid having to compile my own list due to their being so many different programs.

You don't need a list simple rule is to let any program that you think should start at login time do you want antivirus program to start with Windows OS my advice yes you do but do you want CCleaner to start with Windows OS no you don't.

The cheapest thing in the world is advice. Look this guy asked for a list of known malicious startup items so that he could use it in his application.

If you did not have such managed list, you could have told him that. What was the need of saying "We also have found tools like the one you are creating would be filled with false positives and potentially cause more problems than good. ". You can not under estimate his capability. He might be writing an intelligent flaw-proof software.

Thanks for the answers.  I suppose i didn't explain my intentions very well.  Anyway, i've went my own route and i've began to build my own private list of start up programs, and so far it's working exactly how i intended it to.  Obviously having to maintain this is a complete pain though.

some malware impersonates legitimate software like google update

so it would be useless

How are we as users to know how to manage bloatware in our machines?  We come to this site and others to find answers to our issues.  "We have such a list, be we are going to keep it to ourselves" is not helping anybody.  I have a new lame computer that I picked up for cheap; it's no powerhouse or speed demon, but I want to improve the performance on stuff I want to do with it.  For instance I know that those WildTangent games can go and will, but there was over 70 instances of svchost.exe running after start.  No doubt this is bogging this machine down.  I know this isn't the proper thread for my problem, but this comment is my feelings on the matter.

Major geeks has a page where you can restore settings in Registry or in MSC Services.

There is also a pdf of default service processes as well
