Possibly some useful information for someone.. maybe haha but anyway time for story time. So after having 1 stick of ram installed I ran memtest and it showed no errors. Continued into windows and this time it crashed after 3hrs, I did a reboot and then it crashed again 6 hours later. Today I ran with a different stick of ram it to crashed after 6 hours. I did some digging around with the chipset drivers ubuysa had mentioned and got those installed and looking at the device manager it has cleared in there. After that I did a reboot and the system was fine, shutdown and reinstalled all 4 sticks of ram and once I get logged into windows I was greeted with a BSOD, maybe 30 seconds after logging in that said SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION_. After it rebooted I got back into windows and an AMD reporting window pops up asking if I want to submit a report, so I do, and it gave me a copy of the report. I don't know if anyone knows what they are looking for in this report but I will attach it in case.

If there was a Dump File created please upload it, if not please run a SysnativeCollection again and post it.

Seems a Dump File included and more.

Not seen myself but 2nd line in DxdiagOutput.xml ===  C:\WindowsDirectX 12Not found96 DPI (100 percent)  - no idea and the path statement is wrong.

Is there not some issue going on with : QtQuick ?

Somewhere I thought I asked you to go back to the M/B Chipset Driver https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-X670E-TOMAHAWK-WIFI/support#driver  and not use Master Driver as it is a Overclocking Tool.

If Overclocking your in the wrong forum and need to be here :

https://www.overclockers.com/forums/  or https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/    It may be a idea to do so if continuing using ram that is too fast and Ryzen Master and ?

Dump File :  SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3b)    SYMBOL_NAME:  AMDRyzenMasterDriver+446a

As I do not run AMD Chipset have noticed this before : https://community.amd.com/t5/drivers-software/ryzen-master-driver-not-installed-properly/td-p/130195  Would want to check it and see if the current stuff is same # or if there is a double entry with new numbers and delete the older.  Is my 1/2 baked idea :=}

EDIT : in DPINST.log it mentions 2 x's that Legacy Mode in BIOS is on ???  Please expand on that ??    As well States Plug and Play.  Plug and Play is a Security Risk.

The what ever Installer for Master or Chipset is grabbing files to install from the Driver Repository.     Lets clean that up make sure not getting corrupted files more or less.

Please use CMD Admin Prompt to Clean the WinSxS : Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

As well please review : https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/chipset-install from off this Page for proper installation of Chipset Drivers : https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/chipset-install#faq-Installing-AMD-Ryzen-Chipset-Drivers  As well from the above read on Uninstalling them please.

The one dump in that AMD Bug Report looks very much like a RAM problem again. Although there is a third-party driver on the triage call stack (AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys) there are several memory faults in the full call stack...

ffffd08b`18fa7458  fffff804`3d027b57 nt!KiPageFault+0x497
ffffd08b`18fa7338  fffff804`3ce62102 nt!MmAccessFault+0x282
ffffd08b`18fa6d78  fffff804`3d026f64 nt!KiSegmentNotPresentFault+0x364

AFAIK you've run Memtest86 and the system froze, which isn't good at all. I think it may be worth trying Prime95...

  1. Prime95 is designed to stress your CPU (and RAM on some tests) and it WILL make your CPU run hot, so you must monitor CPU temperatures.
  2. Download Prime95 and a temperature monitor of your choice (CoreTemp is good enough).
  3. Run your temperature monitor and keep it on top so you can always see it.
  4. Run all three Prime95 tests (large FFTs, small FFTs, and Blend) one after the other for a hour each test, if you can.
  5. If Prime95 generates errors, if the system freezes/crashes/BSODs, or if the CPU temp exceeds 85° C (TjMax for your CPU is apparently 89° C) then stop Prime95

I think it's most likely (from the dumps) that your problem is hardware related, especially since it froze running Memtest86, so we need to test your hardware before we look at software causes I think.

I am so confused haha last time I installed chipset drivers I got them directly from MSI website. I have uninstalled and reinstalled from the link you provided just to be sure. I had no idea what Master Driver even was until I google searched it, I'm assuming its Ryzen Master? Does this automatically get installed with the drivers because I didn't install nor have I used this. I also can't find it anywhere to actually open it or delete it but oddly enough looking through that link "Solved: Ryzen Master Driver not Installed properly! - AMD Community" I found in Registry Editor that I have Ryzen Master Driver V20 AND V22... I hit delete on V20 and did a reboot and found that its still showing exactly how it was before hitting delete but Ryzen Master doesn't show up in any of my apps or software sections for me to even find to delete it... I haven't had time to run Prime95 I will try and get to that tonight or tomorrow. I've heard a lot now about how this all could be ram related and mine being to fast. What speed would you recommend for ram with my setup? I can ask around to some friends and see if I can get my hands some or just buy some to try just to rule it out perhaps? because this is getting annoying and its getting over my head haha you guys are great though with giving lots of detail so I can at least stumble my way through.

Hi, the files I looked at showed you had Ryzen Master installed.  No it does not get auto installed, nor does anything else.

! driver install = 1 reboot of M/B drivers (in a perfect world).

Need to run one or the other, can not run both as far as my limited AMD Chip experience goes.

Speed of ram was discussed in Post # 4.

It is clear the speed you need to run from the Spec Page of your Chip : https://www.amd.com/en/products/apu/amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d

Max Memory Speed
2x1R     DDR5-5200
2x2R     DDR5-5200

So know what you are doing and how to overclock you would use the above.   Note 4800 would be fast enough so that can enable XMP with no expected problems.
Can still push the ram at faster speeds by overclocking.

This information screws a lot of people up as they think they can stick in the max ram speed that the M/B can handle and no one stops them at the store & SAYS NO. (I have done it myself, though had no problems doing so on the Maximus Board until one morning the thing never turned on, Chip was toast)

Since it is obvious that this is a ram problem you find what has been tessted from your M/B Support Page under Compatibility Tab keeping in mind not to go over the speed for chip : https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-X670E-TOMAHAWK-WIFI/support#mem
Above have all been tested with the M/B.  Again does not matter what speed the board can take it is what the chip can take.

Interesting : https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/1311ila/for_maximum_memory_speed_what_is_2x1r_2x2r_etc/

4x1R  DDR5-3600
4x2R  DDR5-3600

So what the above states, 2 sticks @ 5600 or run 4 sticks @ 3600.

You have 4sticks in then must run them at 3600.

So pull 2 Sticks and place the other 2 in the proper slots for running as per M/B.   Lock the speed at 5600 and set the timings in SPD as per the ram.  And TEST.

EDIT : Then Test @ 6000 or what ever is Auto speed set by the M/B.

so my mobo set to auto in the bios will set the ram to 5600 with 2 and auto sets to 3600 with 4 sticks. With all 4 sticks installed I ran Prime95 and had 0 errors and 0 warnings when running (large FFTs, small FFTs, and Blend). Pkshadow I am not saying I don't have Ryzen Master installed, as I have seen it when I was looking around in Registry Editor. I'm just saying I don't understand where it came from as I haven't installed it and even still I haven't found anywhere that I can actually uninstall it. Even when I am in AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition I noticed under "performance" and "tuning" over on the right side theres a tab that says "download ryzen master" not trying to argue just trying to give info as this is pretty far over my head at this point haha.

Also Pkshadow your post from Feb 15 I still haven't much of an idea if you were trying to tell me something or just someone else about

-"Not seen myself but 2nd line in DxdiagOutput.xml ===  C:\WindowsDirectX 12Not found96 DPI (100 percent)  - no idea and the path statement    is wrong. Is there not some issue going on with : QtQuick ?"

-"Dump File :  SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3b)    SYMBOL_NAME:  AMDRyzenMasterDriver+446a"

-" in DPINST.log it mentions 2 x's that Legacy Mode in BIOS is on ???  Please expand on that ??    As well States Plug and Play.  Plug and Play is a Security Risk.

sorry I'll do my best if you can elaborate here at all if you are trying to get some info from me haha thanks.

Hi, ok so we have figured out the ram speed for 2 and for 4 sticks.

That is a major mile stone of learning for all.

Type   Programs and features  (add/remove software) it is still there and should find Ryzen Master there as a normal program to uninstall.

Not at all sure what I am going after here but the file states : \WindowsDirectX 12Not found96 DPI

There is a DirectX problem.

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=%5CWindowsDirectX+12Not+found96+DPI+   As this search shows usingthe path statement of above.

(everything on your system has a path C:\Program Files\ ...  & once get past the initial directory  (DOS terminology) is a path to the file or folder.

Think of clicking 4 folders to find a picture you want.  You followed a path to get there. The path is the folders (Directories) in or out.  Hope that makes some sense for you.

To fix DirectX issues use DDU to remove the video drivers and reinstall with current version.

As to the search URL read and see if you need to do more than just the above to get rid of problem : \WindowsDirectX 12Not found96 DPI

Spacing change of the reply box to the Post Box changed how my thought was going.  Is there not a problem with QtQuick (No idea what it is or does but it has turned up as a problem and believe you stated so yourself.

Could this be what is making the DirectX problem ?? OR just a problem. ??

The DUMP File is a quote out of it showing Ryzen Master is being called for and or used  and it created a crash.

Hope that answers you :=}
