No sound after computer wakes from sleep

If you are using a USB sound adapter then it seems your USB ports are turning off on sleep and not awakening. The below link is for Windows 11 but the same holds for Windows 10. Not sure if it will work but give it a go.

Every single one of the USB hub devices was checked, so I unchecked all of them. Thanks for that, we'll see what happens!

....................................... the only thing I see that may have something to do with the issue is under the Events tab

 

Driver Management has concluded the process to add Service KsUSBa64 for Device Instance ID USB\VID_041E&PID_324D&MI_00\7&20489F2E&0&0000 with the following status: 0.

 

If John's advice doesn't help, and you suspect that the event above coincides with the onset of your problem then uninstall your sound card from Device Manager, then download and install the drivers/software from here.
