Create a new user account on the computer, and see if edge works fine in the new profile.

Edit: According to your Speccy report, you only have 4 GB of RAM.
THAT could definitely be a contributing factor.
It is a hardware problem that might be helped by adding more RAM ****IF**** your system supports doing so.

 

After all I have done  and comments received I am coming to the conclusion that 4 GB of RAM is the trouble. My memory usage is 80 %.

So I thank you for your excellent help and of course all the other posters.

I will consider upgrading my memory to 8 GB.
