So in the process of doing various things, I did have to reset the default program for opening images to Windows Photo Viewer.

That gets changed to Photos, which from what I could did not have the arrows to use for going through pictures.

Later, when I have more time, I will investigate Photos use.

Ok some questions for an article I am writing for the front page. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to fully explore this myself and the Windows 10 app hasnt downloaded the files to my computer yet as far as I know.

1. Where is the Windows 10 reserve app downloading the files to ? Could someone please create a screen shot of the folder that contains the installation folder? If you make the screenshot please make the explorer window small so I can see the folder name and still use it in the article.

2. How big is the folder where Windows 10 is downloaded to?

3. For those who wish to bypass the Windows 10 upgrade app, they can download the Windows 10 Download Tool and either make an iso, bootable usb drive, or install through program?

4. How many updates are ready to be installed one Windows 10 is installed?

5. There is no way to create an ISO and do a fresh install ? From the link aura gave it appears that if you create the iso, you will need to install it on another computer and not the one it was created on? The fresh install info is confusing.

I just reinstalled my 8.1 OS and have not yet received the icon for win 10 upgrade. Can I go to Microsoft web page and download the ISO and install it before MS downloading it to my pc automatically?

I did check out Edge. It is different and I won't use it much since it also uses tabbed browsing, which I do not like.

All web browsers use tabs these days, what is your browser Mosaic?

IE6?

Me I prefer tabs, no clutter in my taskbar

The install went well, but now i can't play MP3's in windows media player anymore. Anyone know how to fix that? Also, everything looks crushed together, anyone else having this issue?

Back home after leaving the computer on the whole day and still no Windows 10 upgrade downloaded. I got the message however that Windows 10 is released and that Microsoft is releasing it in wave, and to notify me when it's my turn.

It's 24 minutes long, I don't have that time unfortunately :P I'm just going to download the media creation tool and upgrade that way.

After getting used to Windows 8, and now getting this upgrade I noticed some improvement.

I tried out the video player and it works great

I like the feature where you click the icon and it says recently used,

I havent tried all my programs yet, but Firefox and Avast are working fine

I tried out Edge, and to me it looks just like IE, Wasnt impressed.

So far seems to be working great

Here's an interesting upgrade experience I found on tenforums, replete with screenshots during the update using the media tool.
