- Right-click the partition you want to format
- Select Format
- Choose a file system, a volume label, and an allocation unit size

How to format a previous system drive into one partition?

As was pointed out the last time you did this, the Topic Starter reported this solved back on February 17.

Format a partition in Windows:
- Right-click This PC and select Manage
- Open Disk Management
- Select the disk you want to make a partition from
- Right-click the Unpartitioned space in the bottom pane
- Select New Simple Volume
- Right-click the partition you want to format
- Choose Format from the context menu
- Select a file system and choose a partition label
- Click OK to save the changes
- Confirm all the information and click Apply if there is no mistake
