Unable to Install WSUS on Windows Server 2012 R2 via GUI or PS

Sorry for the delayed response. Pending updates still failed.

 

Considering my primary objection is to search for, download and install Windows 11 updates and security patches, can I just do that through PowerShell? I don't have any experience in PowerShell, but if it could potentially help me down the road, I'm up for the challenge.

 

Can anyone recommend a book, website, forum, YouTube channel or other source for someone going into PowerShell as a complete beginner? I've been around long enough where I am comfortable at the command prompt, so if WSUS isn't going to help me, perhaps PowerShell is the way to go...?
