Downgrading is not possible or the computer won't run, you mights well stay with windows 10.

The reason why you are getting errors when try installing win vista or win 7, is the computer was design to run on windows 10

Did you even read the thread? with all due respect. Windows 10 is non existent. There is 0 OS

According to the official microsoft website you can indeed install 32 bit windows on 64 bit hardware. You just have to wipe any os which is clearly the issue here. I just need an OS. Have no computer. have no flash drives. just a official windows vista business 32 bit install cd. Don't know anyone since I just moved. Am at a loss. Once again emphasizing I do not believe it to be bad media but perhaps something with the legacy support settings.

As all I have is a windows vista cd I want to put vista on there right now. Here's the link. They do say windows 10 but I don't see why it wouldn't be the same deal for vista: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-install-32-bit-os-on-64-bit-machine/f5d8f83b-d8fd-4d78-91b7-94d8b58befad#:~:text=Windows%2010%2032%20bit%20cannot,Windows%20from%20the%20Operating%20system.

In order to install windows vista iso, you need a usb thumb drive to install it on your laptop.

https://file.wiki/download-windows-vista-iso/

You will also need an activation code to activate it > https://www.softlay.com/articles/windows-vista-product-key

From the Forum Rules -

All help must be provided in the forums or on our Discord Server. We do not allow support to be provided or requested via personal message, email, or remote desktop control programs (Logmein, TeamViewer, etc).

There is a very good reason for this rule. I have known one or two posters who have made malicious suggestions, suggestions which would have completely wrecked the computer they were aimed at. If such suggestions are made in open forum or on Discord they will be spotted and corrected, in PMs and emails they won't be.

Sheesh all that just to be told to go to discord. Thanks.
When I click that discord server link you put it says cannot be found. Also the suggestions would be done here. The email is simply for whoever is able to help me to send me there wallet details so I can send them $10 or the equivalent. I have attached multiple pictures and have stayed very active on this thread since I started it. I have explained the problem in as much detail as I possibly can. Put the bounty as a reward because I really want my laptop to work. If anybody seriously thinks I'm trying to bait them into something or scam them or something I genuinely question there mental stability. I could really care less about $10 but someone else might really need/want that:p And that's $10 USD. Convert for your own currency if applicable.

Sure, you can run a 32bit OS on a 64bit CPU but only if the OS can run on it.

Installing Vista on the Celeron N3050 which is what you have is not possible. The best you can do is attempt an install of Windows 7. I don't understand why you would upgrade from Vista to Windows 7. This is no longer a free upgrade.

Basically I'm trying to install vista to get 7 on there. :P

Hi Useful_Idoit666:

As John_C, noted in post # 29, the free upgrade offer from Vista to Win 7 expired on 31-Jan-2010 and there is no free upgrade path from Vista SP2 to either Win 7 SP1 (the usual upgrade path) or higher.  If you want to upgrade you would have to purchase a new Win 7 upgrade DVD and license from a reputable source.  Win 7 SP1 reached the end of extended support on 14-Jan-2020 so you will have to decide for yourself if you want to spend that much money to upgrade a Vista OS to Win 7 SP1 (assuming you can find Win 7-compatible drivers for all your newer hardware).
