Windows security won't run a full scan, after installing VLC media player

  • I've just tun another ESET scan, which finished without finding anything.

 

  • I've just run another full scan using windows virus and threat protection, and it has frozen. I forgot to disable the internet during this scan.

 

  • I canceled the full scan and tried a quick scan, which worked and found no threats.

  • Press Windows Key + R at the same time
  • Type eventvwr.msc and press Enter
  • Expand Application and Services Logs
  • Expand Microsoft
  • Expand Windows
  • Expand Windows Defender
  • Right click on Operational
  • Select Save All Events As...
  • Save the file onto your Desktop as WDOperational leaving the default Save as type:
  • Zip the file and upload it here
