Hope you dont mind if I ref to you as CD. or Dan ..or  short for Cryptodan.

Can I just check... I tried to download CCeleaner Speccy and it  although the website seems in English, when I downloaed and installed the file, it seems to be in a foreign language.

So I may not be sure what I should do or what I should click on..

Upon trying to run the program.... it does show some information and I can see a button at the bottom Right hand side...(RHS)

Do I need to click on that do you know ?

below is what I get if I just highlite copy and paste what I see in the box...

I did not  know if thats the same as clicking on the button on the  lower RHS. but on clicking it, it just takes me to an updated version.

BUT on the Left hand side of the box, there is a list of options... but they are in another language...

and I am not sure at the moment or at least for now what to click on...

I'd recommend getting a 256gig ssd and maybe more ram since you have a 64bit processor.

I again Note what you say., but may not be fully clear with some part of what  you say...

what is a 256 gig SSD is that a 256 gb hardrive ?

In ref to looking further at the CCleaner program.  (I am NOT sure how I got a Foreign version when the website I obtained it from was set for English...

unless there is a error mixing other nationalities on their system / website..

in some of the other options on the left hand side when I click on them... there is a LOT more information about various things to do with the computer in each one of them..

I assume somewhere when I click a certain link... it gives a complete copy of ALL that info in a txt Note pad form if I recall from a similar thing I used in the past.

but as everything is in a different language , I am not sure what to click on as yet...maybe I can trial and error.

DO you need all the full info ?  or was what I post sufficient for now to make a judgement that you required ?

WAS you aware it may had been in another language ? or is it just occurred to me...(Maybe I clicked on something as I downloaded it that selected the wrong language.)

I'd recommend getting a 256gig ssd and maybe more ram since you have a 64bit processor.

Thats what you recommend..

Its such a long time since I questioned what size my hardrive was I could not recall... as I have used this laptop for some years now.

I thought it was either 40 or 60 GBs...

looking at the CCleaner info, it shows this I assume is just the hardrive storage.

Storage
    55GB Hitachi HTS541660J9SA00 (SATA

256 GB seesm huge and I am not a gamer or large user of storage at the moment...and do have two external drives...I think one was 40 GB..

For now I was hoping not to have to update and hardware unless your suggesting it needs to be considered before considering the other options we discussed..

or to consider changing to Linux..

as  you have not commented further as yet in ref to what I said about the CCleaner program and langauage issue...

I am not sure what I may need to consider next for now.

But depending on our time and any possible further discussion...and our availability... It may be something to consider on another day if any of us have other committments for now. or in the near time frame.

but I thank you for me so far upto now....

I wouldI post a further log if I knew what to do.

Being in the UK I  am on another time zone...and I may be awy be away a while to get  a meal... and maybe some ZZZs  shortly...

but will try to comeback in the next hr to see if there any further comments...

The CCleaner was fine, and I've encountered that bug too. You can change the language in the settings.

Just before I read your reply,

I did risk clicking on a few things in CCleaner and did manage to find an option to alter the language.

If Its Ok with you....

I want to take a bit of time to take a look at what is listed in snap shot before I post any further info on it...

or maybe ask if I can PM it to you....if i think some of it maybe info Id prefer not to post on a open forum.

The output is perfectly fine. It doesn't reveal any privacy information. If it was then it wouldn't be used here

Overall I think you maybe right...but there there seem much more info than I expected.. and maybe one or two things that I may not have wanted to acknowledge that I can see, that IF It may not be important to the next steps..I may ask if its ok for to delete...

In terms of using the Publish snapshot option selection...

it shows two options, one to see or "open in browser" and another " Copy  to clipboard"....when I select Copy to clip board it does not work.

When I used something similar before.. I thought it created TWO NOTE PAD TXT files ...but that may had been a different program...or maybe its now combined the two together.

I know some people dont like or encourge anyone posting such info by PM... or maybe if they do they may want it on Notepad text..

Otherwise I would have to copy and paste either onto a Notepad or Word doc and post as an attachment or direct in a PM... or direct to the present thread.

IF I POST it to the THREAD.... I WOULD like to have the option to edit it if I later consider I wanted to remove some info from it...

OR maybe its best to ask if its Ok to send you parts in sections or for me to ask If I can delete certain things...EVEN IF I was to Post by PM to you..

Im sort of a bit uncertain on this as one thing I once posted there was some info that I did not want to include..t

So I am just trying to explain my thoughts.... Sorry if its a delay / pain...

By any chance, is there some particular parts that you mainly need to see that I can say send you in ref to more detailed parts ....under each main listed sections

This will allow me to look in more detail if I post one main section at a time or just the main parts that you may require..As I am sure some parts of it will not be relevent..

I cannot edit it, out certain parts , If I just send the URL  alone...

But may prefer to send you some of the main sections that you  may mainly require..

that helps me just spend a bit of time looking at each section...before I decide to post or edit parts of it at each section...

Just copy the url and paste it.

This is all the information it contains

http://speccy.piriform.com/results/DGa3i3NYHppZSrpEbNrHZwe

There is nothing in there that is of concern nor can be used to hack you. If it was that malicious the tool wouldn't be allowed here at all. It's been used by a lot of people.

This is the 1st main  parts that I think I am ok to post...

As far as I would guess the parts I missed out tend to be some repeated past changes from 2017

and a few other things that I dont think are relevent unless you come back and say different..

but you may have what you need here...
