Thank you all for keeping this Topic alive! 
To be honest, figured it would go no more than 5 pages & become buried. Was surprised by the community for chipping in, thanks to everyone who made a contribution, no matter how small or large, a lot of collective knowledge in this Topic.
Keep up the great work, am proud of this Linux community!

Performing full disc images weekly and keeping important data off of the 'C' drive as generated can be the best defence against Malware/Ransomware attacks, as well as a wide range of other issues.
