I clicked on Settings>Developers>Install Linux development environment. It then took several minutes to install itself and ended with an open window called Terminal. The window contained:

billtofte@penguin:~$

Nothing else. I didn't type anything until I was told.

I don't know where it's located on the web or how to do it. Also, is it Debian 11?
