I darn them - socks are something I never skimp on regarding cost egg - I am still wearing hand-made socks I have had since 2009! I haven't had to repair them as yet - I have hand-made wool socks for winter and summer (different thickness for summer)
Proper bookmark or whatever comes to hand?

Both Depends on whether I put my Proper Bookmark in a safe place after I've read the book.
If I can't find it I use whatever is available.
