VPNs do not protect from malware from other sources such as drive-by downloads which are very common these days unfortunately.

...A vpn at little cost can save both you and your data from mishap in future. It did for me after being a victim of hackers.

Yes there are benefits from using a VPN.

I am 100% sure that you can't clean the Malware and there are no another way except to install the new windows however if you found any best antivirus but the virus will exist remain in your pc so it's a better to install the new OS! Good Luck!

This is an eight page discussion topic so I am not sure who you are responding to. While a reformat/reinstall of the OS is recommended for some malware infections...it is not necessary in most cases.

Google Chrome link in the OP is no longer active. They haven't used that one for a long time!

This the one I've used for a while now (and I've been using Chrome since it was in beta in the autumn of 2008):-

Hope that helps. Just felt it ought to be corrected.

Potentially unwanted programs hamper and infect the system firewall. We need a good firewall and total security antivirus solution for the system and also some precaution must be taken into consideration like not clicking the links from unknown resources, emails etc. This post explained well about this. Thanks for sharing.

Many people click everything they receive and see and then they're wondering how they've been infected. Of course you have to be careful on Internet and use antivirus programs in order to be more safe.

Yep. There is a strong possibility that you are still infected.
I suggest you start your own topic so that we can all look at and address your issues without getting mixed up with anyone else's.

Also, Merry Christmas!
There are still lots of people here that are willing to help you with your problem.
