Congress funding the government one week at a time.

I do not pretend to understand the arcane workings of the US House of Congress and The Senate - forgive me if I have the respective names wrong - but this discussion is supposed to be about their decisions on how to fund the working of the US Government. I fail to see how whether or not an individual pays taxes in the US or claims benefits is relevant to the decisions of how the Government determines its overall funding.program.

As is sadly so often the case yet another topic has wandered so far off topic that the original topic is out of sight, lost in the murk of personalities.
