osmium 164,several kilograms of.  half life of a few milliseconds and an alpha emitter, ouch. plus as one of the densest metals it would take a lot of effort to shift away whilst you were dying of the damage it did to your bodily tissues.

Yuri Gagarin's space capsule travelling at orbital speed (if it's travelling at 0 m/s i'll happily accept it)

I guess we have to go back to A

So i shall start with

Anti-protons in large quantities  (there is a reasonable chance that there are tiny quantities of anti-protons or anti-electrons in everyone's living room due to cosmic rays and the decay of oxygen-15, it is a certainty that there are significant amounts of anti-neutrinos going through EVERYONE'S living rooms RIGHT NOW but they rarely do anything)

Boron. I wish I had a raw form, I do not. Therefore it is not in my living room. I'm not counting that box of borax. Want the real state.
Boron is needed by life. In 2013, a hypothesis suggested it was possible that boron and molybdenum catalyzed the production of RNA on Mars with life being transported to Earth via a meteorite around 3 billion years ago.
RNA being, Ribonucleic acid, a family of large biological molecules that perform multiple vital roles in the coding, decoding, regulation, and expression of genes. Together with DNA, RNA comprises the nucleic acids, which, along with proteins, constitute the three major macromolecules essential for all known life forms.
Ultrapure boron for use in the semiconductor industry is produced by the decomposition of diborane at high temperatures and then further purified with the zone melting or Czochralski processes.
In the United States, 70% of the boron is used for the production of glass and ceramics. 47% of Asia produces glass fiber boron containing insulating and structural fiberglasses ... In short, I do not have in my living room but want a special boron vase.

I thought this thread was supposed to be things you really do not want in your living room, not merely things you don't have. As far as i can remember pure boron is not exactly a poisonous substance (Ld 50 at 6g per kilogram), a sheet of the stuff might even help partially protect you from neutron radiation(it's used as a moderator in some reactors).

Caesium in it's pure form. Neither it, or the living room, would last very long.

exothermic reactions, might be a more appropriate thing to go with the picture.
