Chrome Windows 7 'End of Support' Options?

If you have a spare hard drive laying around, you can download and install Linux Mint Cinnamon, and see if you like it.  They have great tech support and they keep things updated.

I have been using linux as my daily driver, and hardly ever use Windows expect for work on my work lap top.

@ Synoptic12 - I have an old XP machine that has produced, for me, plenty of supporting evidence. But, that is my personal experience with a different OS. I was running WIN 7 but updated to WIN 10 last March. Your experience may be different with WIN 7. You may be good for another 10 years. Time will tell. I wish you the best outcome.

Thank you very much for that information. My brother says his XP is still running. Naturally, Microsoft offered the Windows 10 upgrade for free. I did install and within five minutes, I reverted back to 'Lucky' Windows 7. There is nothing with 10, it's o.k if one uses basic computing but I need Windows Movie Maker and some other necessary apps which 10 does not have and/or support. I'll stay with 7. The only thing that irks me at the moment is the header at the top of the browser stating that Windows 7 is sunsetting. It's annoying, but you can just 'X' it out and keep moving. The red arrows denote or show the aggravating info. One just has to 'X' out at the right but it's always present. i hope Google gets tired of showing that.

Just FYI, Blender is a 3D modeling and animation application. It has become highly respected, is open source (free) and includes a very good video editor.

I don't think that google will stop presenting that to users that are using unsupported versions of Windows.

Well, banking is imperative. However, I'm sort of a gambler in a manner of speaking, so I'll stay with 7. If worse comes to worse, I'll move to Mozilla Firefox. Thanks very much. Remember, Google put out a press release in 2022 whereby Windows  7 would be gone: Google never followed through.

There's been no mention from Mozilla in ending support for Windows 7, 'none'.
