Annoying problem with YouTubes

Windows 10, Google Chrome incognito mode,

Visiting YouTube while NOT signed-in.

I tried turning off the adblocker (ABP).  Annoying to while watching a longer video, suddenly an advertisement interrupts the video's play, so can choose to click the SKIP button after a few seconds.  Also advertisements play, one or two of them ,  at the start of some videos.  Choice we have is either watch the video or wait five seconds to click on SKIP.

Mr. Hanff has decided it is time to use the criminal law in the Republic of Ireland and has made a complaint, supported with evidence, to the Garda. How far it will go is a different question but at the very least the Garda will have to investigate.

If anyone reading this and uses Firefox browser and being forced to allow ads on YouTube

I would like if they would test something as I am not being forced to disable ABPlus. I also use

NoScript which blocks two scripts as seen in image below. Install NoScript and use the same settings

I have and see if you still are being forced to allow ads. It's blocking doubleclick.net and jan-pa.googlepls.com

I allow the other 5 scripts shown in the image.

EDIT: I meant to ask anyone doing this to clear the browser cache and delete all

Google cookies before installing NoScript and viewing a YouTube video and disabling those

two scripts.

I have an issue with youtube ads, I posted a thread last night. A moderator locked it, with just a pointer to this thread. I'm not sure if it's the same issue or what options there are to address it. For example, I indicated I don't know which adblocker is in use - I could have asked about that. The symptom seems different also, it's always getting one or more minute ads with no 'skip' option. Might need to ask another forum.

Yes, that's always been the case. But normally they've been 15 or maybe 30 seconds, never all 1  or more minutes, all unskippable.
